A huge thanks to our Sustainability Chair Madison Brantley for organizing our Feed the Tumbler service event! Residents learned about composting programs in Rutherford Hall and at UGA, and then gathered leaves to feed the monster Frankie before he got too hungry...

On October 16, residents of FRC learned about the mission of the Athens Area Humane Society and had the opportunity to volunteer with the animals up for adoption.

On September 29th, our FRC members took to the Green Roof Garden to harvest some Zinnia plants! These cold-resistant flowers found a new home with our members as they were replanted in vases. Below are some images of the beautiful arrangements that we created.

Last week FRC residents got to spend some quality time with Danielle and Fletcher on a lovely evening on Myers quad. Fletcher loves meeting new students, scratches behind the ears, and walks around campus. We are glad to welcome the official dog of FRC!

On September 18th, FRC members headed to Sweet Olive Farm- an animal sanctuary just outside of Athens- to volunteer. Beginning in 2010 with a humble calling, Sweet Olive Farm provides a home to abandoned animals in danger of being euthanized.
