Image: On October 16, residents of FRC learned about the mission of the Athens Area Humane Society and had the opportunity to volunteer with the animals up for adoption. We split up into two groups: the cat volunteers helped to clean the kitty habitat and spent some quality time with the future pets, and the dog volunteers helped with food dishes, dogs in recovery from medical treatment, and teaching dogs how to walk on a leash. FRC also donated the chew toys our residents created in an asynchronous service event. Thanks to Athens Area Humane Society for hosting us!
