Recruitment Chair

Heyo! I'm Libby Hobbs, a first year Journalism Major and Music Minor on Piano. I hope to combine my passion for writing and music by sharing stories of artistry with the world. My favorite piece to play is Clair de Lune by Debussy and currently, my favorite album of all time is Love, Pain, and Retrospect by Before You Exit. If you like BTS, boba, or need someone to talk to, I'd love for you to come say hi!

Libby Hobbs is most passionate about her involvement in the Red and Black, Franklin Residential College, and Episcopal Church Ministry at the University of Georgia. Since October 2021, when she became a contributor for the culture beat of the Red and Black, Libby has written about UGA Presents concerts, diversity at UGA, and more. In January 2022, she landed a front-page article on the Omicron variant's impact on UGA students and faculty. Dinner and compline with the Episcopal Church Ministry, Sunday Cookie Nights, and other FRC activities have become a source of relaxation and fun for Libby. In February 2022, she became Co-Recruitment Chair, a position that helps bring incoming students to the FRC. Libby hopes to expand her leadership in the Red and Black, FRC, and Episcopal Ministry to share what these communities have taught her with others and to continue growing as a human being.
