Rylee is a freshman studying Art, with an intended focus in Scientific Illustration, and minoring in Biology. She joined the Franklin Residential College to build friendships with people from diverse backgrounds and to be part of something bigger than herself. Rylee shared that without the FRC, coming to UGA would have felt much more daunting and overwhelming. Through FRC events, she has learned, served, and built friendships she can’t imagine her college life without. Being part of a community that truly cares for and supports one another has made UGA feel like home for her. Her favorite FRC memory is the Speed Friending event, where she met so many new people, shared countless laughs, and experienced the true spirit of being in a living-learning community.
