Image: On Oct. 29-31, FRC returned to the UGA Marine Institute for an action-packed weekend on Sapelo Island. Highlights included a service learning event in the Hog Hammock community, harvesting peppers, peas, and indigo; learning about UGAMI research, through a nature hike and a boat trip on the Spartina; and social gatherings like the bonfire on the beach. We will remember our bike rides to the lighthouse, yoga on the beach, and night hikes to find bioluminescent spiders!
