Saturday, February 20 2021, 9:30am Synchronous Outdoor Service Event! Service Learning This is our first in-person synchronous service event of the semester, and we’re super excited about it since it’s been over a year that we have had a chance to go to Gospel Pilgrim. For this event, there are two ways to participate: Option 1: Be a tour guide! · No research or prior knowledge required! You will be stationed at a gravesite and be provided a script to read about the person who is buried there. Sign up on the calendar here! Option 2: Clean up gravesites! · Get your gardening skills ready! You will be provided gloves and loppers to help you clear up overgrowth around some of the gravesites. Make sure to bring water and wear appropriate clothing. Sign up on the calendar! Also, we will be providing transportation to those of you who need it. Please sign up on the calendar. We will have a UGA passenger van with limited capacity and open windows driving loops between Rutherford and Gospel Pilgrim in ordinance with CDC guidelines.
