Saturday, March 30 2019, 9am Tallulah Gorge State Park This is our first trip of the spring semester! We are headed to Tallulah Gorge State Park for the afternoon. Tallulah Gorge is considered one of the most spectacular canyons in the eastern U.S. We will be hiking rim trails to several overlooks, and we might even be able to obtain permits to hike to the gorge floor. There is also a suspension bridge that sways 80 feet above the rocky bottom that provides spectacular views of the river and waterfalls. We have booked the only picnic shelter at the park, and we will be grilling burgers and hot dogs for lunch. Bring an Eno, a book, a journal, a camera, anything you would like. It should be a relaxing, low-key, and fun day! Spaces are limited, sign up on the FRC calendar if you have an interest and we will assign spots based on points priority. Saturday, March 30th from 9AM to 3PM
