Composting - Now at a Patio Near You!

Image:
Compost do's and don't's

Do you hate the odorous organic trash left over from cooking or snacking? Do you want to help the planet and our vaunted institution's Sustainability program? Of course you do! Now there's a solution - the compost bin on Chera's patio! Once a week, someone from Sustainability will ride over and pick it up, replacing it with an empty one, and taking our trash to the campus compost. Take use of this fantastic opportunity and make sure to dump your (compost-friendly) junk!

Compost can be vegetable or fruit matter, paper, yard clippings (what are you doing with yard clippings?) and more, just make sure that meat and dairy stay out of the compost. You can read more about composting here
